the more I learn and the more I grow, the more I realize how completely discontented I am with the emptiness of secular life.

pop culture. small talk. social mores. meaninglessness. it’s terrifyingly easy to spend an hour or a day or a week or a lifetime being busy - and yet never thinking and talking or acting upon anything that actually matters. we’re a world of lost people starving for truth, trying to fill the emptiness by gorging our worldly appetites but all the while starving our souls. 

I am unsatisfied with the status quo.
