Anonymous asked: Are you a Creationist? If so, why?

I don’t question the existence of evolutionary forces, and I don’t deny the validity of carbon dating - but I do believe that a personal, moral, intelligent Creator is a much more reasonable explanation for the origin and overall function of life than an infinite regress of causation, or the spontaneous appearance of matter/energy. I’m a Christian, and I believe that God created all life and endowed it with inherent value. 

I don’t think science and faith are mutually exclusive at all, but I do think that there are plenty of philosophical questions - such as the origin and meaning of life - that science alone does not suffice to answer.
